Now, this is the the kind of thing I wish I had thought of.
Reese told me about this fellow: Raymond Scott.
Turns out the guy who wrote all the great Warner Brother’s cartoon Music was also the guy who first recorded electronic music. And he hand built huge machines to do it! Certainly one of the more important people in American music of the past century, and so few know of him!
