Reese told me about this fel­low: Ray­mond Scott.

Turns out the guy who wrote all the great Warner Brother’s car­toon Music was also the guy who first recorded elec­tronic music. And he hand built huge machines to do it! Cer­tainly one of the more impor­tant peo­ple in Amer­i­can music of the past cen­tury, and so few know of him!
