So, I’m going to Mississippi right now to deliver my friend and his Victrola to visit a wealthy, beautiful sculptor in her Victorian mansion. I’ll be back Monday I think.

1–800-GOOG-411 is my favorite Google product you’ve never heard of. It’s awesome… instead of shelling out $1 to Verizon or AT&T to get 411 information, Google provides it for free, and connects you. It will even send you a text message with the address and phone number of the business you’re calling about, also for free. I’ve probably used it a dozen times, and it’s been accurate every time.
Being good at Google has turned into a marketable skill for me. I’m working on something big right now, so stay tuned…
For all you fellow politics junkies out there, I present www.electoral-vote.com. Updates daily with all the latest polls, with info on all the Senate and House races out there as well. As you can tell, NC is the only tied state right now — and it has been for a week. I’m addicted to this; it’s one of the first websites I check every morning.

Asheville, described by CNN as a ‘liberal stronghold’ really turned out for Obama. The numbers I’ve heard are in the 28,000 zone. That’s huge for Asheville. Here’s a pic I got from up in the nosebleed section.
So, now I’m official connected to Blog Asheville. I attended some of the Blogger awards that they had behind Bouchon on Lexington Ave. last week, and that was pretty fun. Good beer, good fun, good bands. Neat to be included in a group purely because of our medium and not our message.
